The spectrum of Attention Deficit Disorder behaviors and challenges is reviewed including, but moving beyond, an overview of the typical "core" features, into the more common and specific day to day difficulties faced across the lifespan. Presentation of current treatment recommendations and practical management strategies to overcome the day to day challenges is based on a current review of the publications of leading specialists in the Attention Deficit Disorder field. The seminar concludes with a discussion of useful resources one can access for ongoing informational support, including a discussion of the newly opening local chapter of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder).
